Weekend Sales 5/11/18

Are you ready for the weekend!!! I am so excited because this weekend is Mother’s Day and my dad’s birthday! Seems to work out a lot this way and I love it. Being able to celebrate both is such a fun tradition we have had in our home for so long that it means so much. My father is turning 70 this year, which is kind of scary, not going to lie. Its hard to think about your parents getting older. I see them everyday thankfully and they are so active in their lives I’m very blessed to have both my parents in such great health. My parents both go to work everyday and love it, they prefer to be at the office together then anywhere else, except when the grandbabies are around. My son is named after my dad and it was always the plan, to name him William and call him Will and my dad goes by Bill. They are such cuties together.

As for  Mother’s Day, we are going to be celebrating with a big morning brunch and then head home to enjoy the day.  For my mother that is usually some shopping for flowers and then planting with everyone wearing gardening gloves, Wills favorite part! She tends to have the whole exterior decorated with flowers. No spot is out of bounds for her green thumb.

Now to the good stuff, sales this weekend. I’m planning on heading to the mall in Des Moines to grab some new items at Loft, ours keeps low quantities in stock and there is so much new stuff that it is worth the 2 hour drive. Probably do a try on session for you and show off some of the new spring items I can’t wait to get my hands on, especially since they are on sale.
