Statement Earrings
So many have joined the bandwagon of the statement earring trend so I decided to ditch my studs to try some of these out. I do have a preference for sure, something light! I don’t want to cause any damage to my ears and having them looking saggy lol. Also having two kids I kind of ditched any dangling accessory for so long due to the fact that at some time, someone was going to pull on it. Since my kiddos are now 11 and almost 6 I decided that it is about time to try out some of the beautiful earrings that I have been seeing on some other fashion bloggers. I of course looked for some light, simple colored pieces because I just wanted to start by getting my toes wet, I not the cannon ball kind of girl.
I first purchased a Baublebar set of the tassel earrings everyone so loves. I got some black ones and some white ones and I purchased the hoops because as a kid of the 90’s I loved my huge hoop earrings.

The hoops I wore first had the thicker metal and were a bit heavy in my opinion then the lighter options like the tassels. I do love the colors in them though and how many options that companies have come out with lately. I did grab some lighter and bigger hoops that I have tried on and liked better due to weight. I also grabbed a pair of the crawling earrings to try. These go up the ears instead of hanging down but are still very noticeable and may be a great option for moms who still have little ones that like to grab. I do like the tassels the best and I was surprised that I did just because I am not use to wearing such bold pieces. They instantly add color and a bit of something extra to the outfit. Especially if you are doing something really basic, like I tend to, and then add that big statement earring. Below are some really great choices that I either have or am planning on picking out some day and I included an array of different price points for every budget.
