The sales are so good this weekend. Starting today then have been just crazy, trying to reduce summer stock of tops and clearing the way for more fall and winter items. It has been a great time to stock up on some basics like long sleeve tops, jeans, sweatshirts and grabbing some of the crazy sale sweaters that they are already trying to move.

As the weekend is growing closer I am making more and more progress on my to do list. I started the #last90days this week and that has been going well. Plan on doing a entire blog post when I get closer to the end. But for now my food item that I gave up for the 30 days part is baked goods. This includes muffin, brownies, cake, doughnuts, cookies, and bagels/bread. I din’t include pizza in this list thinking that it doesn’t really count as a baked good. So far so good but man, it is not easy. I am use to having a cookie at least every other day or bread so yeah, taking it slowly, doing some yogurt substituting for my sugar addition.

Taking on the fall items this week with high boots and gorgeous sweater that look so fall I can barely stand it.  There was an amazing Loft sale this week with everything 50% off so took a big hit to my wallet this week but so many great things! I also did a short try on session at Forever 21 who had some great fall items this week with great pricing as well.

Love this sweater, stay true to size or go up one. Will have to wear with high waisted pants if wanting to tuck. I love these leggings, yes those are leggings. Fitting true to size they are the bomb!

Love this cozy top and I have talked extensively about these pants, best lounger pants around. So soft and warm.

Love this striped shirt, size down on size. Love these jeans, grabbed a bunch of pairs during the 50% off sale. So good.

Who doesn’t love a good flannel, this one is super cute and warm and has a crazy good price. Love the jeans at Old Navy as well and snagged these up.

One of my favorite new plaids, so soft and comfy, worn well with everything. And these boots are under 40! Such a great piece for fall.

So I have been a huge fan of murder mystery for a while now and I decided to take a short break after the last book that I read because, unfortunate, I knew who did it from the beginning of the book. I don’t know if it was the book that was at fault or me knowing how to determine who it was so quickly. Regardless, I started reading Red Queen because, I like books in a series and needed a break from the usual. This book was so good I could not put it down. I had to keep reading it and ended up finishing it within days. The main character, Mare, lives in a world filled with two kinds of people, reds and silvers. The reason for this is because that is what you are born with, red or silver blood. The silver blood people are the high class people mostly having some soft of  power involving moving metal or fire or water. The have the ability to do beyond the normal human convention. Mare is a red blood and steals when she can not planning on doing much more with her life because she has no talent beyond it, or so she thinks. One day she stills from the wrong man and ends up finding herself with a job inside the castle walls during a huge rebellion between the reds and the silvers. She has to decide which side she is going to go with and to make matters worse she discovers a power within herself. For now she is no longer a red or a silver and the King and Queen must decide how to move forward.

I don’t want to give too much away but it is a great read. Can’t wait to start the second book and tell you all about it.
