New Years Eve 2019 Thoughts
Finishing up my end of the year work. Super exciting stuff here, end of the month, end of the quarter, and end of the year paperwork. Getting ready to do all the tax forms and cleaning up after Christmas at home. To be honest I haven’t spent too much time at work and at home cleaning lately. I have been enjoying the company of friends and family. This time of the year is so special and makes us, or at least myself, feel incredibility grateful for all I have.
I have been listening to the inspiring messages of Rachel Hollis all year long and I have been putting some deep thought into living my best life. What dreams I have that I want to achieve. What goals I want to see happen and really what it all means to me down the road. Not to get to sentimental but looking back at the last 10 years really makes you think about how you want to spend the next 10.
I found myself in a terrible marriage that thankful I escaped with only a few sessions of therapy could fix. An amazing little boy that is my sunshine every single day. A daughter now a tween and almost teen sharing life lessons with already. Realizing that I want so much more out of life then what I have been given. Pursing my dreams of having a blog and sharing on multiple channels what I love so others can love them as well. I truly enjoy sharing my finds and I hope you enjoy it as well.
Looking forward to the new year I hope to add a bit more happiness in your life with what I share. I hope to have a bit more joy myself along the way. Sometimes its difficult in a world of perfect family’s and perfect people to find your way but I am working hard at finding my own joy, and not comparing it to everyone else. I believe that comparison is the death of joy and to best serve yourself is by taking care of your self first. Follow that dream. Take the trip. Drink the water. Eat the stupid salad and live your life to its fullest.
Here’s to a Happy New Year, make it the best one yet.
