Easter Weekend
Easter outfit due to the weather in Iowa. Did I mention that it was a wonderful 21 degrees Easter morning as I headed off to church. By the time it was brunch I swear the temp dropped enough that you can see your breath. I really don’t remember it being that cold last year. I ended up having to change out the shoes for brunch to my Sorels because it was so cold, and a huge warm coat. The kids were super happy that the Easter bunny arrived though so thats all that really mattered. Don’t have any pictures to share because I was busy living in the moment and put the phone down. I honestly love those moments where you get so busy and your heart is so full that you forget about social media and trying to capture the moment. My son is 6 soon and the moments of him being a sweet, loving little boy feel like they will end soon. There is nothing better than hearing his little laugh and all of his “I love you’s” and kisses that makes you forget about everything else. I swear I can just gobble him up. Thankfully Piper keeps up the story of the Easter bunny well, I think she truly loves believing in the make-believe. She keeps everything very magical for him. -
Weekend Sales!!
There are some great sales this weekend! Can’t wait to get to the mall myself but till I can I going to start some online shopping. Going to do some posting now so you can get looking! Mom Uniform
Mom uniform for sure. I think this is the main item that I wear when running the kiddos to school, leggings. The thing is that they are so versatile that I can wear them every day. My main thought is that the workout is coming after drop off but I can really go anywhere with them and add anything to them. You can dress them up or down, depending on your mood or how much time you have in the morning. I have been doing the cardigan look this spring so this has been my usual look. I then try to run back home and continue on the 80 day obsession because I do so much better in the morning completing my workout then if I wait. Otherwise I can run straight to the office or errands and then back home if needed. Just got this cardigan last night, you should have seen the packages at my door, and loving it. Super warm for these cool mornings we are having and comfy with a cute edge to it. Can’t wait to show you more of the goodies I got! Keep watching!!!
