SO ready for the weekend. Been dealing with some unhelpful tenants all week doing eviction and cleaning of abandoned units and I have had my fill. Whoever said being a landlord was easy is crazy. At least is hard for this single momma. You go in with big ideas that it will help pay your bills and add to your savings when your mostly chasing people down to pay rent or finding them destroying your property and having to deal with the court to get them removed or your money back. Some days it really doesn’t feel worth it. I spent last night waiting for a tenant ( who does not have a lease) come home to serve eviction papers never show. But all of his stuff is still there. Hopefully I find him this weekend and I can get over with this nightmare.

On to some retail therapy because that is truly what I need. So many clearance sales. Everyone is either getting rid of their spring stuff or already has. Some really good items to snatch up if you haven’t yet. I know I’m eventually heading over to grab a romper and some denim shorts that I have had my eye on lately. I finally grabbed the white and black jeans from Abercrombie that are on sale for 19.99, I can’t wait to share.

What a week! Sorry this running late! We had so many events over the weekend that I forgot to hit the publish button!!! So, to round up for the weekend we had a quiet evening in Friday night. Saturday we had oven cleaning and tracking down tenants for payments, that time of the year that I don’t love so much. Saturday night we had a block party in downtown Iowa City. It was so much fun, ran into some great friends we hadn’t seen in a while and made some new ones. Got some great photos of the two of us as well. Sunday was filled with a run, boating and a friends dinner party to end the night. What a weekend.

Happy weekend everyone! Hope yours was fun and full like mine! Last softball game of the season for my daughter, Will started day camp and is loving it. Been busy doing a ton of home maintenance projects, just the basics. Got new batteries put into all the security cameras and charged the doorbell, lol. Realized my dishes have been dirty looking for about two weeks and finally realized its because I was out of water softer pellets. Only took me a bit to get there.  Lets get down to the good stuff quickly- there are some really great finds this weekend. If you haven’t been to some of these recently now is the time.
