I started this morning shortly after 4:30 checking first all the bloggers posts who got to go in yesterday to see what they liked the most and then I went shopping online. I scored some great items and I can’t wait to show them to you. The closest Nordstorms is in another state so I have to wait till my items get in but I thought I would share what I ordered with you now. I could only link a few items, right now everything keeps crashing, imagine that! Here was some of my top finds!

Pics of the Week for 7.6.18

This week has been crazy! I have been tearing apart apartments, replacing everything from toilet seats to window sills to flooring. I have been so worn out I missed a couple of posts just trying to get things done on time. Many lessons learned though! I learned the correct way to put in new door locks and jams and how to adjust them to size. I learned that being nice doesn’t mean being walked on. There is defiantly a difference and I learned the hard way. After trying to accommodate a particular tenant and made every change that they wanted they still were not happy and didn’t move in. Having a backbone and knowing when to say no is a valuable lesson learned, and an expensive one this week. Sometimes you can’t win, no matter how hard you try and you just have to move on.

Who doesn’t like to be festive for the holidays? Its going to be Christmas any day now I swear! I think that it is crazy that it is already so close to the 4th! I honeslty haven’t even thought of what we are doing this year. Probably because my ex will have the kids I’m not really thinking about any plans, the clothes yes, but plans no. When I don’t have them to plan on its really not as much fun thats for sure. My kids make every event fun and that much more enjoyable. So we will probably go boating and enjoy the fireworks and get some stuff cleaned around the house. Its funny because we haven’t even discussed it yet. Also for the fact that it is in the middle of the week. Going to work a full day Tuesday and on Thursday so the party will be kept to a minimum for sure. What do you do to celebrate the 4th of July?
