    Derma E Vitamin C Review

I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to try out some DERMA E products last year and I have fallen in love with them ever since. I have always been a big advocate for trying out new items and when the chance came up that I could try DERMA E I took it. I first tried out the Microdermabraison Scrub and could easily tell how good the products were. The grain was so fine but didn’t disappear in my hands. So I quickly tried the Radiant Glow Face Oil and the Anti-Wrinkle Treatment Oil. Both absorb so quickly into the skin and make it feel so silky.

That was all it took, I was quickly hooked. From the Scalp Relief shampoo and conditioner to the Rosehip and Almond Hand and Cuticle cream. I had a DERMA E product on every shelf. I immediately jumped on the opportunity to try out their new line of Vitamin C products.

I already knew how good Vitamin C is in your skincare and love the youthful glow that it gives. The Vitamin C Bright Eyed Hydo Gel Patches have come to my rescue many times now. Making my puffy eyes look well rested, wide awake and brighten my dark circles of too many girl nights out on the town. The Ultra Hydrating Alkaline Gel Booster is just the skin quench that I needed. Reducing the appearance of fine lines, dullness, and dehydrated skin. Finished off with the Hydrating Day Cream, antioxidant rich green tea and vitamins C, A, and E to soften, smooth and re hydrate my face and neck.

All of this keeps my skin young and youthful looking and lets me look much younger than I appear. DERMA E is dermatologist recommended, proven and effective- Proven Clean Beauty that I love. So many great products to fall in love with, I know you will have them all on your shelf’s as well.

Products were gifted but all opinions are my own.

Being sustainable is good for your wallet

Sustainability is one of those words that we keep hearing more and more nowadays. Sustainable living, sustainable farming and sustainable fashion is just a few examples. But what does it mean to be sustainable and why it is good for you and us, as society?  I understand sustainability as a fine balance between finite resources that there are available and how we as humans choose to use them. We all heard horror stories from the fast-fashion industry where new clothing was being made at a huge cost to the environment and everyone directly involved in the process and it made me to become a bit more self-aware on how I made my purchasing decisions as a customer. That self-awareness led me to a few discoveries that I would like to share here:

    1. Buying second-hand fashion is not only sustainable but good for your wallet.  Second-hand fashion is booming and that is positively impacting environment and helps to raise awareness that the we all as consumers can make the fashion industry more sustainable and environment friendly. I have recently ordered a bag myself from www.inseller.com, which trades in second hand luxury bags, and I am not only happy with my purchase that allowed me to save several hundred dollars but I am also satisfied that I could become a bit more sustainable.
    2. Make money by selling stuff that you no longer need. We all have loads of clothing, shoes and other unused items collecting dust in our closets. But do you know that while these items might be of no value to you, they still have value! List them on various resale platforms and you will be surprised that you can still make some cash of it! So extra cash for you and some karma points as well, as you will be helping the planet by increasing the lifecycle of your items! 😉
    3. Consume less. This one is simple. Just before you buy that latest mobile phone, shoes or even a car, just ask yourself, do you really need it? Consuming less is one of those things that has probably the biggest impact and I am currently working on making a habit by always asking myself if I really need that item before I go and buy it. Trust me, you will see that in quite a few cases the answer will simply be “No!”.

These are just a few examples that helped me to lead my life in a bit more sustainable fashion and also saved me some cash as well! If you have more tips, I will be happy to hear from you!
